ʻAlalā, limited edition prints and open edition posters by Marian Berger.

This piece is from a watercolor original created for the Up Close special exhibition at Volcano Art Center gallery.  Theʻalalā (commonly known as the Hawaiian crow) is the most endangered bird in the world, and is extinct in the wild, with only a little over 100 surviving in captivity.  A release for the ʻalalā is planned for late 2016, in attempts to reintroduce them to the wild.

Proceeds from each sale from the Up Close exhibit help the Hawai’i Endangered Bird Conservation Program, managed by San Diego Zoo Global.
