Peter Anderson immigrated from Burma (Myanmar) to the United States in the 1960’s. He served in the Army working with military radars stationed on the Korean DMZ, aka the “Northernmost Outpost. “ After his military service, Peter spent over 30 years working in the broadcast industry (Fox TV, Inc) as a tech/engineer. Upon retirement in 2001, Peter left the Washington D.C. area with his wife Audrey to live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Peter is also a musician and plays lead guitar with a local musical trio.
Scenic photography has always been Peter’s main interest although his works include the flora and fauna of the beautiful Hawaiian islands. His photographs have been published in several island publications, phone directory covers and on programs and posters. Most of his works are photographic giclees printed on gallery wrapped or framed canvases.
