‘Io, limited edition prints and open edition posters by Marian Berger.
This piece is from a watercolor original created for the Up Close special exhibition at Volcano Art Center gallery. The ‘io is also known as the Hawaiian hawk. Though the ‘io could once be found throughout the Hawaiian islands, they are now only found on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Proceeds from each sale from the Up Close exhibit help the Hawai’i Endangered Bird Conservation Program, managed by San Diego Zoo Global.
