Auku’u, print P01, by Dietrich Varez. The auku’u is a large heron-like bird. It usually sits in trees overlooking fishponds. Because of the bird’s opportunistic habits, Hawaiians have coined several rather unflattering proverbs about it.
This is a giclée reproduction print on archival paper.
