Printing Kapa, print L78, by Dietrich Varez. The ulu or breadfruit (upper left), and kukui (lower left) are used to make dyes. The inner bark of wauke (lower right) was pounded to make kapa. Bamboo (upper right) is carved into “stamps” to apply the designs.
