We are ecstatic to announce that on Monday, June 1st at 10am, Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village will reopen to the public! Our Gallery location in Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park reopens on Wednesday, June 17 at 9am. As the State of Hawaiʻi slowly reopens for business, VAC is getting ready to welcome you back with a few updates!
In an effort to keep our staff and community safe and healthy during this time, and in compliance with the statewide stay-at-home order until May 31, 2020, Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park and the Niaulani Rainforest Gallery/Administrative Offices in Volcano Village remains temporarily closed until further notice.
You can learn how to make your own classic woodblock image with Glenn Yamanoha in the “Mokuhanga: Traditional Japanese Woodblock Printmaking.” This workshop series will consist of four sessions at Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village on Saturdays, June 25, July 2, July 9, and July 16 (4sessions), from 10am – 12:30pm.
