Adare, Rose

Rose Adare is a pop-realist artist classically trained at the Academy of Art University and the Atelier for Classical Realism in California. After eight years of intensive academic training, three of which were granted on full scholarship, Rose spread her art from murals in Guatemala to private collections in London, Dublin, Seattle, San Francisco, and New York. Exhibited at San Francisco’s prestigious Legion of Honor for a Gustav Klimpt retrospective, Adare went on to a number of solo shows at the Sutter Gallery, Epic Arts, and the Center for Sex and Culture, before founding Berkley’s Muse Showcase: A Celebration in Art and Music.

Now residing on the Hawaiʻi Island, Adare was recently accepted into the Seattle Erotic Art Festival (2011 & 2012), the Schaefer Portrait Challenge (2012, 2015, 2018) and had a 3 person show at the esteemed MACC.  Adare’s work can be found on Hawaiʻi, Maui and Oahu.  Adare recently has toured a 33 installation show, created a documentary, written two books: Restraint & Revolution and The Comprehensive Pocketguide for the Badass Artist and opened an art school named Kipaipai School of Art, which means to Encourage and Inspire on the Hawai’I Island.
