If you’re an orchid hobbyist or someone with a budding orchid addiction you’ll want to join Shelby Smith and Donna Barr from the Hilo Orchid Society for Volcano Art Center’s “Build Your Own Mini Orchid Display” workshop on Saturday, January 27th from 9am – Noon at Volcano Art Center’s Ni’aulani Campus in Volcano Village!
These two will be on hand to answer questions and show you some tips, tricks and their orchid “know-how”.
The workshop will involve education on orchids and designing and building a mini orchid display. Different categories of mini orchid displays will be covered, including Garden, Flower Arrangement/Cut Flowers/Ikebana, and Keiki.
Not only will you learn a thing or two, but also, thanks to the Hilo Orchid Society, you’ll be able to take home an orchid!!
Class fee is $25/$20 for VAC members.
