Ben W. Holokai, Jr., a native of Wailuku, Maui, moved his family to California in 1966 to accept a position as an aerospace illustrator for the McDonnell-Douglas Space Systems Division (now Boeing), where he worked for nearly thirty years. Now retired, he devotes full time to his art.
